Join us at SCRUM Studios for a series of introductory workshops, delivered by industry professionals, for young people living in West London interested in developing practical skills in the creative industries.

1. Audition Technique with Iman Bahmanabadi
An opportunity to explore preparing for an audition as an actor. You’ll explore techniques for in person auditions and self-taping. You will be able to apply your technique with other, local, young performers and leave with audition material ready to go!

2. Planning as a Director with Lucie Dawkins
In this (free!) workshop, you will explore how to prepare for your first day in a rehearsal room. You will work with Lucie and other local, young creatives to plan an approach to leading a project as a Director. There will be an opportunity for Q&A with Lucie and to learn more about professional theatre direction.

3. Creative Producing with Jerrell Cumberbatch
An opportunity to explore the process of producing a creative project and learn about the practical skills involved in developing and delivering a creative project. You will be able to work with other local, young creatives in West London to build skills and ask questions about creative producing.

4. Production Skills: Technical Theatre with Nicola T. Chang
Learn about all aspects of technical theatre, from stage management to lighting, from sound to design. You will explore routes into working in a technical theatre career and be guided through responsibilities that backstage crew hold. You will work with other local, young people interested in backstage careers.
